FAQ

WHAT OPTION SHOULD I BE CHOOSING WHEN REGISTERING?
For those in Kindergarten or below, we recommend Junior Blasters which is a 7 week program based on helping learn cricket skills and having fun.
For those in Year 1 or Year 2 the best option is Master Blasters. They will join a team (generally with friends –  not graded) and play a 1 hour game every Saturday morning at Seaforth Oval (no pads/helmets etc. needed).
For everyone else we have age-group based competitions where we form teams and play against other clubs across the Northern Beaches, Seaforth uses a mixed grading approach where we try and use a mixture of helping kids play at a level where they will have fun and facilitating groups of friends playing together.
For all our team-based options we cater for the girls to have their own dedicated teams and are really excited about the continued growth in girls cricket.

WHEN AND WHERE DO I PLAY?
Junior Blasters are on a Friday afternoon at Seaforth Oval.
Master Blasters play on a Saturday morning at Seaforth Oval.
All age group based boys teams play at a variety of grounds across the Northern Beaches. All age groups play on Saturday mornings except the U12s who play Saturday afternoon.
All age group based girls teams play at David Thomas / Millers on Saturday morning or afternoon.

DO I NEED TO BUY ALL THE GEAR?
All teams (U10 and up) will be supplied with a kit that has everything you need to play (bat, gloves, pads etc.). That said, we do recommended players get their own gear over time as this enables them to make sure they have something that fits them right and enables them to practice on their own time.
For Master Blasters and below no protective equipment is required and will all be provided.
